THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY OF BEAUTY

Beauty, what is Beauty? In English, the synonyms of Beauty are loveliness, prettiness, attractiveness, gorgeousness, exquisiteness, splendour, magnificent, etc. If you pay attention to the above synonyms, you will realise the fact that Beauty in the Queen’s Tongue, mostly refers to looks. The same Queen’s Tongue says looks can be deceiving and I couldn’t agree more with the latter statement.

With the entire African educational system fully and wholly dependent on western indoctrination, it is important for us to remind ourselves as to what Beauty meant to us as Africans before the western educational indoctrination got the better of us. Beauty to us never referred to the looks, thus we as Africans never saw any human being as so-called more beautiful and or uglier than the other. What we mostly meant in saying a human being is beautiful and or is ugly had nothing to do with physical attributes but rather was in direct relations to that person’s behaviour, manners, actions, etc.

Fast-forward to today, most of us Africans have forgotten our African norms which are deep rooted in our African cultures, traditions, languages and belief systems. Most of us Africans have become so westernized to the point where we advocate for western norms, cultures, traditions, languages and belief systems much more than and way better than the westerners themselves. It saddens me deeply to see how the western educational indoctrination has completely forced and wiped out Africanism and humanity (Botho/Ubuntu) out of lives and replaced it with destruction in disguise of civilization, globalization and all similar romantic but dangerous terms.

Today Africans use Beauty as a mockery to embarrass, hurt, destroy, kill and say and do all bad things to each other, all in the name of Beauty. We no longer know, understand and use Beauty the African way. We know, understand and use Beauty the western way. We see Beauty through the eyes of the west and that is fundamentally wrong. Beauty the western way is commercial and therefore expensive. Anything expensive is divisive and destructive, if you do not understand or believe what I am saying, then take a closer look at the destructions the western Beauty has brought to the African life across the African Continent.

We allowed ourselves to be robbed off our Valuable Beauty and replaced it with meaningless and destructive Beauty. Today Africans are more obsessed with the physical attributes of Human Beauty more than the inner natural Beauty. We pay top dollar, money that we don’t have to change our physical appearances just so that we fit the profile of the Beauty designed for and dictated to us.

This dictated Beauty is costing us our value, credibility and humanity. Our families get destroyed because of this destructive and expensive Beauty. Most of us are forced to do whatever it takes to by this Beauty. Some of us African men steal, rob and kill to get resources to maintain this Beauty and Our Africans women are forced to prostitute themselves so that they can get resources to maintain this Beauty. We neglect our families especially the African Child for this Beauty.

INDIVIDUAL BEAUTY

To the best of my knowledge, African Beauty means Humanitarian and Philanthropic Beauty. Many of us Africans do not even understand let alone know what Beauty we possess anymore. We are unable to present and represent let alone share our own Beauty with others including those around and closest to us such as our Loved Ones, Family, Friendly, Relatives, Community, Societies and Nations at large. Let me help bring this closer to home for our sanity: when last did me and you see, acknowledge, appreciate and applaud African Beauty in one another? The last time me and you said someone was beautiful, what Beauty were we referring to exactly? Were we referring to African Humanitarian Beauty or Western Destructive Beauty? That is food for thought right there…!!!

COLLECTIVE BEAUTY

When last did you and me as a collective see, acknowledge, appreciate and applaud African Beauty in another collective such as in another couple, family community, society, nation, etc.…? Do we even still possess that honest and true capability of seeing, acknowledging, appreciating and applauding that collective Beauty…? What happened to the days when we used to collectively help each other through whatever the adversities, collectively celebrate each other’s collective achievements, collectively care for each other as a collective, etc.…?

REASONS WHY THE AFRICAN BEAUTY IS DESTROYED…!!!

The African Beauty is Beautiful. The African Beauty is Authentic and Natural. The African Beauty is all about Humanitarian and these are the reasons for the west not to allow such an excellent and constructive African product to exist for the entire world to learn from. If allowed in its original form, the African Beauty would have done a lot of harm to greed, crime, corruption and all related social ills and that would have dealt a heavy blow to the selfish rich and wealthy lot.

The indoctrination of the western Beauty brought many many many social ills that continue to destroy the fibre and morality of the African Beauty. Today’s Beauty is extremely destructive and its destruction is deep rooted in our psychic as a People. Today’s Beauty is fast degenerating our African Beauty into a worthless thing of the past with no future in humanity. Today’s Beauty is brutally criminal, insensitive and most of all, today’s Beauty us inhumane.

HUNGER, POVERTY, STARVATION

Take a look at how many people suffer across humanity, all in the name of Beauty. The African Beauty never allowed hunger, poverty and starvation let alone human destitute. Poor as the west makes us look, Africans never had homelessness because the African Beauty encouraged us as Africans to care for, love and protect one another. The Africa Beauty never allowed wars but rather championed for peace, justice and stability for all humanity. The African Beauty encouraged Africans to farm, plant, reap and live from the collective benefits that came out of collective labour. The African Beauty ensured Food in abundance for Africans and whosoever became our visitors.

FIGHTS, WARS, EQUAL RIGHRS AND JUSTICE

The African Beauty inculcated the need for peace and justice in humanity. We had no class and status. We treated each other with love and respect. There was never a difference between a water collector, a wood collector, a herd boy, a cleaner, a cook, a child mender, etc. and all the individual responsibilities and contributions were always fully appreciated and treated as equally important. No one was made to feel as if they were not worth it no matter how small their contribution in the family. We were brought up in a respectful and peaceful way hence we always resolved our differences, no matter how big and or serious peacefully and with respect as opposed to through a barrel of a gun as is the norm to many across the world.

AFRICAN BEAUTY VS WESTERN BEAUTY

The African Beauty is more of the Inner Humanitarian Beauty and the western Beauty is more of the Outer Physical Beauty. Today’s Beauty has more emphasis on the outer physical Beauty to the extent that humanity is enslaved into believing in this destructive understanding of Beauty. Africans have been sold a dummy regarding Beauty and it is so unfortunate that the majority of us Africans bought into this dangerous belief entirely. Today’s Beauty is more about the outer physical Beauty than the indigenous authentic natural humanitarian African Beauty. Today, fake defines and protects Beauty and fake is the order of day. The invention of all the so-called Beauty products are not just fake, but they are also a dangerously well-orchestrated plan to end the African Beauty.

Their danger is not only for and on the skin but the greatest danger is for and on both the mind and soul, with the worst danger being the permanent scars on the mind. The mind is the most powerful tool for any living creature, especially human beings. The African Beauty forms the core of the African Identity. The African Beauty is Beautiful. The African Beauty is Powerful. The African Beauty is Peaceful. The African Beauty is Just. The African Beauty is Harmonious. The African Beauty is Rich and The African Beauty is Wealthy.

The war against the African Beauty is a war against the African identity. This war is mainly meant to destroy the African Identity so that the greedy, brutal, criminal and corrupt lot may freely loot, steal and destroy Africa. The main objective of this war is to wipe out the African Beauty and the African Identity so that the brutal, criminal and corrupt lot may lay claim of Africa, her Children, her Richness and her Wealth.

The indoctrination through the governance and administration structure of governments, business, socio-economic conditions, the health and educational systems, the corporate world and many similar and relevant means are used daily for the advancement of westernized norms, cultures, traditions and belief systems as well as for the enforcement of such on Africans and the African Continent. The internal wars, fights and arguments amongst African couples, families, communities, societies and nations about Beauty and what the real Beauty is and or not, is a job well-done by the west, for the west.

Whilst we as Africans are busy arguing and fighting about the so-called Beauty that is in the eyes of the beholder; busy arguing and fighting over a meaningless democracy and political freedom; busy arguing and fighting over who is more democratic and better amongst us; busy arguing and fighting over what we should have, could have and would have and whilst busy arguing and fighting over all romantics thrown at us as Africans by the west, westerners are busy milking and looting us and our Continent dry.

We as Africans are busy giving away the one most important and extremely valuable thing for us and our Continent and that one thing is the African Beauty. Without the African Beauty there can never be an African Identity. Without the African Identity there can never be peace, justice and harmony. Without the African Beauty there can never be humanity, Botho, Ubuntu and taking humanity out of us Africans is killing us completely. It is for this reason that Africa and her Children are on the verge of perishing.

LET US DO ALL IN OUR POWERS,WHATEVER IT TAKES TO RESTORE, PRESERVE, PROTECT AND SUSTAIN OUR AFRICAN BEAUTY. THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE US WERE FORCED TO ALLOW IT, WE OF THE NOW MUST NOT REPEAT THE SAME MISTAKE AND THOSE WHO WILL COME AFTER US MUST NEVER ALLOW A CONTINUATION OF THIS BAD THING…!!!

THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CAN SAVE THE AFRICAN IDENTITY ARE THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE BEST INTEREST OF AFRICA AT HEART AND THOSE NONE OTHER THAN US AFRICANS AND NO ONE ELSE…!!!
